This is very true. When I had been playing guitar for about maybe two months, I was not used to playing in front of people and I was thinking about uploading my stuff in youtube and stuff like that. The following weekend me and my family went to a place called Maroochy river resort bungalows for a little break and that evening I sat down to play guitar for a while and a little while later, this complete stranger walks up to me and asks me if I knew who was playing. I told him it was me and he got out his harmonica and we ended up jamming together in the park in front of my whole family which is huge, so I got used to playing for other people and it was very encouraging for me to play with another musician, and he also gave me heaps of music theory books and introduced me to some of his friends who I also got to jam with and are very experienced players who ended up showing me heaps of things!!!
