Weekly Revision 3 Lesson 7: ‘Chords C F And G’

This lesson is from my Revision3 Show titled ‘Your Weekly Music Lesson with Walt‘. This week we learned ‘Chords CFG’. First, before you learn these chords it may help to learn The Notes and also the other chords ADE

The reason why I broke the chords into two separate videos spread over 4 weeks is because I always say that it takes about one week per chord. So I figured I’d give you some time to practice, because practice is important, and everyone gets it over time.

Last week we learned ‘How Microphones Work‘, and tomorrow we’re going to learn ‘How Rockband and GuitarHero work’.

    hi, I just got my guitar about a week ago, and i’m working on a song. it’s kinda dark, so I wanted to learn some low chords. which chords are low? (I know this is a noobish question and all…)

    when you say low I think you mean minor chords. Do a search for minor chords here on my site. Also check the archive pages for more :)

    dude your show is awesome. its helping me a lot,especially the segment on reading sheet music.But do you have any classes on different strumming techniques.I need them cos I hear you in the video,playing one of the chords: it sounds heavenly, but I’m unable to do it.

    Thanks man, you make learning this stuff a lot more fun. It’s like messing around WITH someone, it can be tough to push myself to learn just from books all lonely-like sometimes, since I’m not really good enough to have any music buddies yet.
