OK so here it is! Last week we learned the notes, this week we start building Chords A, D, and E in order to write Songs! Rip out that instrument, turn up the volume, skip dinner, and GET READY! It all starts here.
You can’t always go around saying “Life is Lame”. Life is a blessing, a journey. Its something that you embark upon. This adventure is ENTIRELY made up of everything that YOU want it to be. A student wrote an email to me saying he thought everything in life was lame except music. I disagreed in my reply. Since music is a part of life, and vice versa, then Life is amazing. Everything you do is a reflection of your music, and all your music is a reflection of your life.
So tackle life in the same way you put every ounce of drive, passion, and love into your music. Smile, be happy, play guitar, meet people, do everything. Learn every scale, do every hobby, meet every person – because the richer and more complete your life is, then the richer and more complete your music becomes.
Music is an emotion, an adventure… and so is life – so don’t be Lame – your an amazing person. Just be you.
