Epic Fu, Steve Garfield, And I At #nme Panel For David Tames

It was moderated by David Tames – who after speaking with him, I learned he produces short documentary films, and interviews with filmmakers, etc. He does it all – videographer, editor, web developer, and even is a producer. Check out more of him here!

At the end of New Media Expo 2008, I was asked to be on a panel with Steve Woolf (Epic Fu), Zadi Diaz (Epic Fu), Steve Garfield (SteveGarfield.com). Recorded on Saturday, August 16, 2008. We discussed topics such as what was best about the show, issues as the big-players enter the space, and Net Neutrality.

My thanks to Steve, Steve, Zadi, and of course David for making the New Media Expo awesome! The spontaneity was so funny, because I was surrounded by people like myself! Very cool peeps, and hope to see them all again. New Media is magical – not because of the technology, but because of the people :)

    What makes events like New Media Expo so great is the chance to meet new people like yourself who otherwise I’d never cross paths with… and crossing paths is what makes working in cross-disciplines so interesting. Online social networking is wonderful, but the old-fashioned encounters of physical squishy humans in material space offers a nice respite from the constant virtual-technological world I spend so much time navigating in.
