hey at the very beginning of the video you say that the sharps are 4ths and that the flats are 5ths. How do you figure that? What do you mean? you start saying this maybe 20 seconds in.

The Sharps in the Circle of Fifths in my diagram above is to the left. notice how they jump in intervals of fifths.

Likewise, the flats in the Circle of Fifths in my diagram above is to the right. notice how they jump in intervals of fourths.
