    hi loved your video on time signatures, but i have sheet music that i don’t understand, maybe you can help? on clown’s dance from “a midsummer night’s dream” the time signature reads 2/4 but the first measure reads G , A , G , F , E , E , 1/4 note’s , and if a 1/4 note has a dot under it dose that change it to a 1/8 note? i just started playing the piano so if you can help that would be great. thanks

    does the tom toms, crash cymbals, ride cymbals, bass drum, snare,etc, in a drum set have note values like if they represent whole notes,half notes,etc? does the hi hat count quarter notes?

    No instrument gets a specific count per note. High hats, toms, flutes, bass, etc. Can get any duration – from eighth notes to whole notes.

    It depends on the song, and the beat

    Hi Rosyln!

    Triads are the same as saying chords. Chords had 3 notes in them, so that’s why they’re called Triads.
